Tickets may be purchased at Town Hall by using cash or a check from a local bank. If you would like to purchase tickets with a credit or debit card you can do so by going to the following link:

Frequently asked questions:
How can I find out if the bus is running today?
The bus will travel 7 days a week, however on occasion weather interrupts the regular schedule. Please contact Arrowhead/Black Hills stage-lines directly at 1-877-779-2999 (toll free) to find out if the bus is still planning on running.
Can unattended minors ride the bus alone?
Yes. Children Ages 15 and older may ride the bus alone during daylight hours with no additional charge. Children ages 14 and under (contact Black Hills Stage Lines for age limits) will have to obtain a form from Black Hills Stage Lines (1-877-779-2999 Toll Free) and pay an additional charge of $5.00. An adult must be present when the child gets on and off the bus. There can be no bus transfers for any minors during the trip.
Does the bus go to DIA?
No, the bus only goes to Union Station or the Greyhound Bus stop in Denver.
At the Greyhound bus stop you can pick up an RTD bus to DIA. Currently
there is no charge if you have a bus ticket. You must use the RTD bus the
same day as the date on your ticket. Please go to the RTD website
to purchase tickets if you need to. www.rtd-denver.com
Is there a fee for parking at the airport?
The Buena Vista Airport does have parking available with the following fees:
Short Term-north fenced lot:
Automobile: $3.00/daily $10.00/weekly $20/monthly
RV, boat or travel trailer parking is NOT ALLOWED
The Buena Vista Airport also has a shuttle that will travel up to 10 miles
from the airport for a fee of $10 per trip. Please contact the airport for
availability.
How can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets at Town Hall Monday through Friday
from 8:00 to 5:00 (Cash or Local Check Only). You can also
purchase tickets by going to www.blackhillsstagelines.com and
use a debit or credit card.
What if I want to go farther than Denver Union Station/Greyhound Bus Stop?
From Denver you can connect with Amtrak, DIA, or Greyhound via their websites

What does it mean tickets are first come first serve?
The bus tickets are valid for the date of travel specified on the ticket. If for
some reason the bus is full we can change the date on your ticket for no
additional fee.

Are there other forms of public transportation in Buena Vista?
Chaffee County offers the following public transportation:
Chaffee County Shuttle and Neighbor to Neighbor Inc. offer Public Transportation for EVERYONE Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
The Shuttle goes where you need to go in Buena Vista on a daily basis.
If you are on Medicaid they can transport you to your medical appointments free of charge, both locally and out-of-town.
